Abstract

|
Down’s syndrome is one of the most common conditions associated with a chromosomal abnormality, occuring approximately once in each 600 births. But the incidence in Korea has not yet been reported. We have sun a case of Down’s syndrome suffering from frequent respirators illness since childhood. A rare congenital anomaly of the tracheobronchial system and bronchiectasis were confirmed through examinations including chromosomal study, bronchofiberscopy and bronchogram. We report this carte with review of the literatures.
